How to earn money from YouTube

If you're like me, and work in a 9-5 environment, there's no better way to spend your days than on YouTube as the largest marketing platform in the world. Every day brings new videos from every corner of this vast universe and for many people it can be their main source of income. But don't let fear hold you back; I have good news. Below are 10 ways that you can start earning extra extra cash off YouTube in no time. Or so they say. While some of these ideas are quite easy (like being able to make money simply by watching videos), the most rewarding part about the whole process is when you learn how to monetize or use YouTube for your own financial gain.

1) Use Your Niche

If you're not already doing some sort of online business, consider becoming a video content specialist, freelancer, affiliate marketer, product reviews creator, etc. YouTube has an ever evolving economy of niche niches that can help you build up some real income. It helps if you're consistent with posting videos regularly enough that you can get them noticed by users who want to earn money making money from YouTube. You may even find a niche that's already dominated by established brands or products that give a solid reason to keep creating content about. As long as you're willing to put in the time, and learn what makes them best successful, the opportunities for you will continue to grow over time.

2) Get Paid Per Views

YouTube now allows people to earn up to $0.10. And since Youtube takes a 30% cut of any sales made through their mobile app, it's pretty much free to take your views on any particular channel anywhere between $0.1 and $0.90. All you'll need to do is fill out a simple survey or something similar so viewers know which videos are most popular in order to receive a payout. Not only does this mean faster earnings, but it also means that the quality of your videos will be far more improved. There's tons of reasons why you should start making money with YouTube right now. This includes the fact that YouTube pays its top earners upfront, there's no hidden fees, and all that means is that you have plenty of choice as to where your audience likes to see you. Plus, because all the money you get as a reward is paid once per month, each of your subscribers gets their share for free. One thing about getting started with YouTube earning is that you may just lose followers in the beginning. However, once the number of followers is up to 5x, you might have trouble staying motivated to create more content. It doesn't hurt to work hard when you first start so don't get discouraged. The more YouTube channels you have the more possibilities you're going to have. Just remember to stay persistent; if you fail, it could lead to failure and loss of a few hundred dollars.

3) Give Back With A Charity

Since the launch of YouTube I've been giving my time away to various charities. These range from environmental organizations (like Greenpeace and Greenpeace UK) through humanitarian aid work (like Save the Children UK) to educational projects/ projects that benefit children (like Make Sure That Kids See). Most recently, I was really inspired by one of the charities that did a great job helping save our oceans. They did a lot of research and found out more about sea pollution and other issues related to our oceans. The good news is that this organisation uses Facebook ads for their campaigns so for example, you would see their ad on Google News as well. In addition, because of YouTube's 'pay per view' model, anyone can donate to the cause, from students to families and everyone can contribute. Their website is www.youtube.com/savetheocean and they have an entire YouTube channel dedicated to this subject. So if you'd like to come into a tidy little pocket of extra cash, giving your time to the above mentioned charity could be great.

4) Do Affiliate Marketing

Nowadays there are several types of affiliate marketing that are available on Instagram. The traditional affiliate marketing involves companies promoting their brand or product as an independent brand. Like any other promotion, you only pay when someone clicks on that link or buys that product/ service. Then, unlike other social media platforms or advertising networks, you don't have to worry about sponsored posts or having to wait until the end of the day in order to post your adverts. You simply sign-up for a profile at http://bit.ly/affiliate and then choose a brand or item, like Nike's shoes or TIDAL radio. Once you've clicked 'buy,' they send a payment automatically. Alternatively, if you decide to pay per click it works out exactly the same, except you only pay whenever somebody clicks on your link.

You can buy things like items based on your interest, e.g. Amazon is offering promotions on Amazon Prime, so if you're interested, you can purchase different items you want based on popularity as well. For those involved in writing articles for print publications and blogging sites, some of them offer a subscription publishing fee. Many businesses will also accept Bitcoin, Gold or Silver for payments on Bitcoin Cash. You can check out CoinMarketCap for more information on how much Bitcoins they charge for their services.

You might think that your readers would never appreciate anything that cost you money. After all, they don't need the extra cash? Well, when you have a website that does regular updates it becomes almost impossible for people to ignore paying for your content. Therefore, it's important for you to pay a small amount to promote yourself before you make money on your own. Some businesses will offer incentives like digital downloads. Sometimes you can earn bonuses if you reach specific milestones, e.g. you reached 3K Views in the last week, 1 million Viewing Hours in 4 weeks, 10K Views in 12 months. When in doubt, go look at your email list as well. Have some fun; it's fun!

5) Sell Used Merch

If you're one of those people that loves collecting old clothes because they know there's probably a bargain somewhere at the moment, selling used clothes. Usually, you will either sell them once or collect them for a profit. First, get a mailing list that collects items from customers. Then, post your inventory to your blog or on facebook so they can find you and add you as a 'featured seller'. Now, you'll want to pick one or two good items for sale to raise the price. Start working on them once the stock starts coming in, preferably during fall or winter. Pick a colour scheme to create a strong visual appeal, especially if you're selling your older clothes or sporting equipment. You want to sell vintage clothing instead of buying second hand. Even though eBay doesn't exist anymore, you still can use eBay in your search for some cheap, used items. Check out eBay.com for more information.

6) Buy Quality Traffic from Organic Search Engines

There's certainly a lot of money in organic traffic. Why? Because they don't pay for their search engine users. For example, Yahoo is currently offering three deals: Upgrade your site to WordPress Pro, Host a Wordpress Site on Google Drive & More, Take 15 Days Free Course on SEO. Each of these offers a 45% discount. Although it's not guaranteed you'll get quality traffic at all, sometimes there's bound to be some genuine visitors on page. Don't give people fake reviews on your blog, especially if you're a writer. Good luck!

7) Sell Clothes Online

Clothes can definitely be seen as a classic, and easy to sell. However, the challenge here is finding an area that produces high volumes of sales. Whether it's sneakers, dresses, skirts, suits, or jeans, all of these can be sold. For example, some women love to wear heels because they feel confident. Maybe their feet are sore or their heels aren't comfortable. Who knows! Maybe she needs a pair of flats? People actually wear heels for medical reasons, and that's not too surprising. Shoe fetishists are big on heels and they sell these around the world. Women's shoes like heels are extremely rare, but they still sell in large numbers. Men love wearing heels and they tend to wear different versions so the ones that work best for them are ideal for a woman in need of a shoe that fits their body type. Fashion trends change all year round so if you're not sure where the trend is going it would be helpful to follow along on Instagram. Look for trending boots, trainers, and even leather jackets.

8) Publish Books & Articles

The success of books is dependent on their being read. Publishing a book allows you to earn millions of additional bucks per month. It's important that you have a decent fan base, but you must also write with a clear vision and purpose. If there's nothing that goes viral and has an overwhelming following, chances are that you won't make it into a publishing company. If however, your book performs well, gets good reviews and performs well in comparison to other books, the odds are that the publisher will order thousands of copies and publish them in both physical and digital forms. Many publishers have taken to crowdfunding and Kickstarter campaigns for their funding of books. The rewards here include publishing royalty and royalties per share. Book tours allow you to spread the word about your book and get feedback to improve the book. It's interesting how books help people, and even if they like them, you can make a huge amount of money and increase your book's value over time.

9) Design an Infographics App

If you're a graphic design whizz or really experienced. Creating infographics can be rather easy, albeit you may have to hire art design professionals for some hours for your projects. There's lots of apps that allow you to create stunning images without necessarily using a graphical design program
